The Three String Tree by Music City Bridge is an elegant solution to the age-old problem of the buzzy G string on your 6-in-a-line headstock guitar.

Do you wish your Fender style guitar had a better break angle for the G string? Do you have a vintage or valuable guitar that you don’t want to alter by drilling for a second string tree? The Three String Tree is for you! It solves these problems by using the existing screw hole from the original string tree. The Three String Tree functions like a normal string tree but has an extra wing that reaches over and grabs the G string, giving it just the right amount of downward pull. It comes with three heights of Fender-style nylon risers to allow you to choose any break angle you desire.

User Feedback:

“It’s brilliant, Fucking Awesome. Why didn’t they make this in 1963?” - Kenny Vaughan

Why only do 2 strings when you can do 3??

This thing is really simple and really handy. The G string on my tele clearly needed to be lowered behind the nut and the existing tree handled the B & E strings and I didn't need one for the D string. So, this was perfect! G-B-E all nicely lowered for alignment with the tuners. I'll be getting more of these for all my strats and teles!

Hi Music City Bridge Team

The Three String Tree String Retainer is a geat product. It really balanced the g-string on my tele as promised and optimised the tension which I can feel when bending. A very tiny trade off when unpacking the three string tree I realised it was a little bit rusty that's why my rating is only 4 stars. However I appreciate you guys going further with your products where others have left off. Keep up the great work, all the best and Greetings L

Great idea, perfect solution!

No need for two retainers, just use one of these to replace the original. They come with three different height spacers. Highly recommended!

More is always better!

All my Fender guitars have MCB triple string trees. They make sense to me. They retain the G without any modifications to the guitar.

Perfect!

Been looking for something like this online for years. Many purchased later (and none of them worked correctly or fit right) I finally found this and it's perfect! Thank you!!

Put this on my 60s style Tele and loved it so much i put another ob my 60s CS Strat. Improves the tension on the G string that used to seem to “buzz” a bit open. I also have their improved bridge on my ‘63 Silvertone. Made it intonate beautifully! Great products from the USA.
