Installation Guide
- Measure height of previous studs.
- Install MCB Locking Studs, matching the height to your prior studs.

Install bridge and lock into place, turning the top half of the stud until bridge is flush with top and bottom of studs. Avoid over-tightening.
- Adjust action by using either the raise or lower action wrench. Before adjusting action, be sure to loosen strings and unlock locking portion.

Q: Do I need metric or standard Locking Studs?
A: Check your guitars country of manufacturing. If its made in the USA, go with Standard studs. For guitars manufactured overseas choose metric.
Q: How tight should I lock my studs?
A: Tighten ONLY enough to make your bridge parallel. Over-tightening may cause threading issues.
Q: Will my current bridge work with MCB Locking Studs?
A: Yes, MCB Locking Studs will work with most wraparound tailpieces.
