A: If your current saddles are "bottomed-out", we recommend shimming to accommodate Groove Master Saddles.
Q: What’s the difference between Stainless Steel and Vintage Alloy?
A: We developed Vintage Alloy for folks who want a material that harkens to the steel used by Fender in the ‘60s. It will patina as it’s used just as that original steel did. Stainless Steel is much harder and resistant to wear. Tonally, many folks cite Vintage Alloy as being somewhere in the middle of Stainless Steel and Brass, where Stainless is brightest, and has the most clarity, and Brass is darkest, Vintage Alloy sits in the middle of the spectrum.
