About Music City Bridge

About Us

Based out of Glaser Instruments in Nashville, Music City Bridge is a natural extension of what we do at the shop– fix problems for players.

“Music City Bridge” was born when Keith Urban came into the shop around 2012 searching for a fix for his ‘52 Goldtop. Early Les Pauls have a bit of a bridge problem- the strings have to be wrapped under the bridge and there was no way to intonate it. So we created a bridge to fix those problems.

Later, “Uncle Larry” (Tom Bukovac) came to the shop in search of a better bridge replacement for his ‘53 Les Paul Junior. It needed to sound great, fix the Junior’s intonation issues, and keep the strings over the pickup poles. So, our Stud Finder bridge was born.

Today, Music City Bridge parts are used by a multitude of world-class musicians. You can find our parts on stage and in the studio with Peter Frampton, Robin Ford, Billy Gibbons, Brad Whitford, John Shanks, David Rawlings, Vince Gill, Jason Isbell, Bob Dylan, Rob McNelley, Rich Robinson and many, many more.
