Not only are brass 3 “barrel” saddle bridges the classic, traditional Tele setup, but they really sound great and are simple and stable.  But they had issues… originally, the intonation screw needed to be hand bent, and while this worked fine, there have been a number of versions from the last decade or so with built-in intonation compensation.  They work, they are all of equal quality and better than nothing, but one big problem endured.

What no one has addressed till now is that difficulty locating the strings side-to-side and keeping them in the right place, away from the height adjustment screws, which can cause many spacing and chattering issues.

The Music City Bridge Groove Master Saddles solve all of these issues, sound great and are easy to install, set to height, and intonate.  They have a great array of micro grooves to secure the spacing wherever you prefer and a clear intonation line in a carefully tested profile to keep you perfectly in tune.  Fender used a fine steel “all-thread” around 1960 and ‘61, but threads sit at an angle on rod stock and they were prone to sitar.  The Music City Bridge Tele Saddles have grooves that are NOT angled for this very reason, so notes are clean.

Every saddle has 2 usable sides, and they can be flipped to reverse the intonation pattern.  For instance, the b/e’ pair will have the opposite stagger from the D/g pair, using a plain 3rd string.

We offer these assembled in a traditional Fender steel ashtray bridge plate, or as a set of three saddles, screws and springs.  And because every detail matters, they feature American screws with that same superior 6-32 thread as the originals, and now stainless, so they won’t rust.  That’s everything!

Groove master saddles

I have an American vintage telecaster that came with stainless steel saddles. I couldn’t get the action very low or bend strings without notes choking. These saddles completely fixed this and guitar plays like a dream.

The coolest upgrade I've ever tried on my Tele. The chords way up the neck are like bells.

The perfect saddles

These are excellently engineered and crafted. They have kept my tele in tune, made intonation superior to the others I had installed, and removed the string ringing at the bridge. Highly recommend these for those lucky enough to get a set.

Big Improvement

I am extremely pleased with these saddles - I had another brand of compensated saddles which were good, but the tone, sustain and intonation with the Groovemasters was next level. Whatever these folks are doing, they know their stuff! Another set is in my future!

Tele saddles are amazing!

Probably the best quality Tele saddles I've experienced. I can't recommend highly enough!

Such an amazing upgrade...ALMOST perfect in my use case.

Sound, fit, finish, hardness of the brass is second to none. In my use case, with a FCS 60s Tele, every string intonates spot on with a vanilla standard D'Addario 10-46 set EXCEPT the low E. In my case, the low E is a good deal sharp when the A is intonated perfectly. Otherwise, everything is so great that I'll just compensate with the A going flat so that the low E won't be so sharp. I know it's not possible to have absolute perfection with compensated Tele saddles especially when you factor in different string guauges, string materials and brands, but my Glendale set was a touch more accurate on the low E and A with nickel-wound 10-46s.

Tele saddle issue fixed!

Had been fighting an issue with sitar'ing on my D string and tried a few fixes, none worked till these. Amazing it took so long for someone to get it right...much like your original product!
