MCB Locking Studs pair perfectly with our Savvy or Stud Finder bridges, and will work with virtually any bridge or stop bar.
They feature a top and bottom section that allow you to fasten the studs tightly to your bridge. This can improve action, remove tipping, and eliminate sitarring.
The MCB Locking Studs feature a totally unique design that preserves the look of traditional studs but allows for a perfect fit with your bridge. The lower section of the stud is recessed to receive the barrel of the upper stud, creating a seal between the two pieces.
What's more, the supplied adjustment tools make it easy to change action and tighten the locking section.

I just found time to Insall my great new bridge and studs on my original 1955 Gold Top. It installed as advertised and I could finally lower the action down to my liking. I could also get near perfect intonation. This is a must have for any old wrap around bridge guitar! THANK YOU JOE!!!
The Bridge and standard locking studs worked just fine. Great upgrade, I would recommend to anyone that want to update there wraparound bridge.
I don't usually write reviews but the quality of this product and the quality of the people behind it begs for a proclamation. As many of the other reviews here state, the Savvy bridge rescued a meh guitar and brought tuning stability, solid intonation and sweet sustain. In my case it was a spur of the moment purchase of a 2014 Gibson Melody Maker that was rescued. I loved everything else about the guitar but it just sounded so off and plinky with the stock lighting bridge. Thanks to the Savvy bridge I have a guitar that I will actually play and don't have to flip. Thanks!
