MCB Locking Studs pair perfectly with our Savvy or Stud Finder bridges, and will work with virtually any bridge or stop bar.
They feature a top and bottom section that allow you to fasten the studs tightly to your bridge. This can improve action, remove tipping, and eliminate sitarring.
The MCB Locking Studs feature a totally unique design that preserves the look of traditional studs but allows for a perfect fit with your bridge. The lower section of the stud is recessed to receive the barrel of the upper stud, creating a seal between the two pieces.
What's more, the supplied adjustment tools make it easy to change action and tighten the locking section.

What's up with Gibson? I sent their warrantee department detailed photos of my Les Paul Junior's 'tilting bridge', and they told me the bridge tilt was normal. Well, I did not like that answer or the tilting bridge. The MCB Locking Studs took care of the bridge tilt. Intonation was no problem. They work perfectly.
You guys need to get in touch with Gibson. These need to be standard hardware on all Gibson wrap around bridges.

These things are awesome!!! Exact fit in my Les Paul Special…the tone and sustain were greatly improved once they were installed…the tail piece is dead level and stays in place when changing strings!!!

stopped the sitarring on my high E string, works great. Be aware not to scratch your guitar when adjusting the action (underneath the wraparound tail). Also, the tools that come with the studs are not really solid enough to tighten the upper screws with
Well thought out and made a significant difference in tone. The only caveat is adjusting the action' which is a bit of a juggling act since the only way of doing it properly is with no string tension so there is a bit of back and forth to get it tweaked , but well worth the time and effort. The biggest difference i found was in overall clarity and a slight boost in top end and snap. I can hardly wait to use their bridge with these locking studs. Its a no brainer really !
Achieved proper intonation and height. Feel and looks also are great.
