MCB Locking Studs pair perfectly with our Savvy or Stud Finder bridges, and will work with virtually any bridge or stop bar. 

They feature a top and bottom section that allow you to fasten the studs tightly to your bridge. This can improve action, remove tipping, and eliminate sitarring. 

The MCB Locking Studs feature a totally unique design that preserves the look of traditional studs but allows for a perfect fit with your bridge. The lower section of the stud is recessed to receive the barrel of the upper stud, creating a seal between the two pieces. 

What's more, the supplied adjustment tools make it easy to change action and tighten the locking section.

    The “Stud” of “Studs”

    I picked these up to go along with the Saavy wraparound bridge for my 20 lpjr. Best part is how easy they adjust the stud height. These would also be a nice fix for other Les Paul’s!

    Melody Maker turns into LP Killer!

    TBH, this is the the second set of studs/Savvy I have purchased for two different guitars (melody maker ‘09, and an Indonesian Hamer Corina.

    Both guitars suffered from cheap bullshit bridge syndrom. Now they both play great!

    This thing's great

    The Locking Studs and Savvy tailpiece did exactly as advertised for my 1963 SG Special. Got to be the easiest fix to a problem and upgrade all at once!

    Nah no vs! These are beautifully crafted. I was using an alloy bridge and locking studs and the guitar was great. But great has been redefined.

    Huge improvement to Les Paul Special

    The compensated Bridge with Locking studs really did live up to the hype; a bit more substantial than the original and beautifully machined. Better intonation with increased harmonic content and sustain was immediately noticeable even before I plugged in. Very satisfied.
