How to use:
The ideal bump up from "zero fret" for the lowest possible action on a guitar without buzz is between .003" to .004".
- With or without strings, place one of the sides into one of the slots
- Pull the gauge towards the bridge
- If you hear/feel a click, the slot is taller than the corresponding measurement.
Use the Nut Slot Gauge in conjunction with Nut Rescue Kit to raise the nut height, file to lower.
