Metric Threaded Locking Studs are compatible with Epiphone, PRS SE, Eastman, Harley Benton, and many other foreign-made instruments. They are not compatible with Gibson models.
MCB Locking Studs pair perfectly with our Savvy or Stud Finder bridges, and will work with virtually any bridge or stop bar.
They feature a top and bottom section that allow you to fasten the studs tightly to your bridge. This can improve action, remove tipping, and eliminate sitarring.
The MCB Locking Studs feature a totally unique design that preserves the look of traditional studs but allows for a perfect fit with your bridge. The lower section of the stud is recessed to receive the barrel of the upper stud, creating a seal between the two pieces.
What's more, the supplied adjustment tools make it easy to change action and tighten the locking section.

Keeps tailpiece from pivoting/angling, improving tuning stability. OEMs should be using these instead of antiquated floating design.
Purchased the saavy for my eastman sb/55v. It had a sitar sound originally. Installed the Saavy bridge and posts, intonated, and now have the best playing and sounding guitar I have ever owned. Definitely worth the investment.
On my second pair of these locking studs. They’re an absolute must-have upgrade for any guitar with a wraparound bridge.

This wasn’t my first Savvy bridge, I have one on my LP Special. This one, installed on my Junior upped the accuracy of intonation to within a couple of cents across all six strings. It’s simply superior to any of the cheaper and not so cheaper alternatives. It bumped a Faber off my Junior. Use the Savvy with the MCB studs and you will not be disappointed,
Fits well and does exactly what it was advertised to do. The design and engineering are top notch.
I like that I can adjust these studs to whatever height I want but once they're on the guitar with the bridge on they're a bit difficult to adjust but that could be me not having the best tools/know how. Great bridge and studs though.
