The Savvy Bridge was designed with input from dozens of Nashville studio guitar players to get the intonation line, string spacing, and sound just right. The Savvy uses a custom-designed alloy for improved tone and sustain.
The Savvy Bridge is an intonated wraparound tailpiece to be used as a direct replacement for most wraptail guitars.

I recently purchased a killer Les Paul Special with P90 and wrap around tailpiece, the guitar plays and sounds amazing!!! Intonation slightly sharp on 12th fret E B G strings. I purchased the Music City Bridge Savvy Compensated Bridge and installed it without touching a set screw and checked intonation and presto!!! It’s spot on right out of the box!!!!! Recently purchased a 2024 Gibson Custom Shop ’57 Les Paul TV. It was really good when I got it, but i’s really great now that it doesn’t have the intonation issues since I installed the Saavy bridge and matching studs from MCB. I couldn’t be happier now with this guitar.
I purchased a used Gibson Les Paul Jr (Double Cut), and it had a fancy-looking monstrosity of an aftermarket “compensated” tailpiece on it.
Great sounding guitar, feels and plays like a well-oiled baseball glove, well-cut nut, but with poor intonation, and you didn’t dare bend a string or you were immediately out of tune.
I was at the point that I, too, was going to let this guitar go until I read and watched reviews about the Savvy compensated tailpiece.
The Savvy absolutely corrected my problems. Simple installation, my guitar now rings clearer with more sustain, and stays in tune far, far better (even after string bends).
I have a feeling that this guitar’s prior owner gave up on a this great sounding, feeling and playing guitar that wouldn’t intonate or stay in tune.
The Savvy absolutely corrected those issues, and turned that guitar into an absolute diamond.

This was the first experience I have had with a wrap around tailpiece/bridge. The original "lightning bridge" was pulled back quite a bit on both the bass and treble with the bass side being pulled back more than 50% of the engagement to the stud. This caused the tailpiece to have a lot of forward tilt on the OEM studs. I installed the Music City tailpiece and their locking studs. The engagement to the studs is much better with the Music City tailpiece and there is no tilt with the locking studs. This is a very nice set up.
