The Three String Tree by Music City Bridge is an elegant solution to the age-old problem of the buzzy G string on your 6-in-a-line headstock guitar.

Do you wish your Fender style guitar had a better break angle for the G string? Do you have a vintage or valuable guitar that you don’t want to alter by drilling for a second string tree? The Three String Tree is for you! It solves these problems by using the existing screw hole from the original string tree. The Three String Tree functions like a normal string tree but has an extra wing that reaches over and grabs the G string, giving it just the right amount of downward pull. It comes with three heights of Fender-style nylon risers to allow you to choose any break angle you desire.

User Feedback:

“It’s brilliant, Fucking Awesome. Why didn’t they make this in 1963?” - Kenny Vaughan

Three String Tree

I like it. The G string rings better. I used the spacer that allows most of the strings to come off the nut at the same angle, and that's also helping the trem to return to pitch better. Wish I had this a long time ago..

Amazing addition to my telecaster

Thank You Kenny Vaughan for letting us know how great this simple modification is to Telecasters. I trust it’s applicable to Strats as well. The best $6.50 I ever spent on my guitar!

Looks nice, works well

The metal has a nice worn in vintage look that fits right in on my vintage Mustang. Having three sizes is smart. Recommended.

Brilliant idea

The 3 string tree is a great idea. I fitted it to my Tele on the weekend and it feels better, is staying in tune better and sounds better. A small change that is worth the outlay.

Great!

Installed this on my 40th Anniversary Vintage Edition Strat that has a satin, 2 tone sunburst. Fits in with the aged hardware perfectly. I painted the plastic posts with chrome paint pen for an even better look. Already feel a difference with playability as well

What do you think about your new Three String Tree, String Retainer (Aged Nickel)? I think the supplied screw was too short, I couldn't install the retainer, bummer.
