Great not having tailpiece fly across the guitar top when changing strings. Smooth precise tightening down of tailpiece. Easy dealing with initial string slack when top winding. No problem making slight adjustments for correcting intonation. Thanks a real bargain !

These studs match the finish of the Music City Bridge and they lock the bridge in place, so it is perfectly level, makes maximum contact with the studs and keeps the bridge from falling off when changing strings. Highly recommended.

Tiny bit loose in the stock bushings and does pivot a little/have some play, but does the lock job well.

I replaced the Lightning bridge on my 2011 Tv Junior with the Savvy bridge and replacement studs.Its like a brand new guitar!!!!!It stays in tune and intoned.Going forward,I will be replacing all my wraparound’s with MCB.The bridge enables the guitar to ring and sustain like never before.Thank You Fellas!!!

I purchased a set of MCB locking studs to pair with a MCB Savvy bridge that a friend gave me. A guitar tech suggested I try this bridge. I recently acquired a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Junior single cut. Great guitar, but the original bridge did not fit snugly on the factory studs. Every time I would bend strings I would get a "sizzle" or the "sitar effect" which I did not know is a common issue with the original wrap around tailpiece. The string height was not super low so it was not fret buzz. Also, the intonation was never going to be exact with the original bridge.
Bottom line...all my issues are solved. I would HIGHLY recommend the locking studs and Savvy bridge.

MCB locking studs are a clever substitution for the standard bridge studs.
Easy to adjust with the tools supplied.
The locking studs level the bridge and provide a significant improvement to the contact area, stud to bridge.
An excellent, worthwhile upgrade.

The LP Jr I bought a month ago already had a Savvy and locking studs on the guitar but was not set up correctly by the previous owner. I straightened it out and it is perfect!
