Product Background and Description:

Not only are brass 3 “barrel” saddle bridges the classic, traditional Tele setup, but they really sound great and are simple and stable.  But they had issues… originally, the intonation screw needed to be hand bent, and while this worked fine, there have been a number of versions from the last decade or so with built-in intonation compensation.  They work, they are all of equal quality and better than nothing, but one big problem endured.

What no one has addressed till now is that difficulty locating the strings side-to-side and keeping them in the right place, away from the height adjustment screws, which can cause many spacing and chattering issues.

The Music City Bridge Groove Master Saddles solve all of these issues, sound great and are easy to install, set to height, and intonate.  They have a great array of micro grooves to secure the spacing wherever you prefer and a clear intonation line in a carefully tested profile to keep you perfectly in tune.  Fender used a fine steel “all-thread” around 1960 and ‘61, but threads sit at an angle on rod stock and they were prone to sitar.  The Music City Bridge Tele Saddles have grooves that are NOT angled for this very reason, so notes are clean.

Every saddle has 2 usable sides, and they can be flipped to reverse the intonation pattern.  For instance, the b/e’ pair will have the opposite stagger from the D/g pair, using a plain 3rd string.

Because every detail matters, they feature American screws with that same superior 6-32 thread as the originals, and now stainless, so they won’t rust.  That’s everything!

How to configure your saddles:

Fitment: The Groove Master Saddles are a direct replacement for any Telecaster (or T-style) barrel saddles, ensuring an easy installation with no modifications required.

Note: We are able to substitute a Stainless Steel Groove Master Saddle for one of the Brass Saddles for an additional $5.

Groove Master Saddles

just what I needed to get my telecaster tuned. There’s a lot going on with B bender and i had a problem keeping the string in place This isn’t a Glaser bender where i wouldn’t have this problem. The guitar has some age on it and i was almost ready to retire it. Good thing i found these. I have most of the products Music City Bridge has put out and like all the others this does what it’s supposed to do

What a nice surprise!

I got 2 pairs of saddles and installed one pair on my AMPerf. first which had some rattling issues and the high E falling of the fretboard.
I was surprised how easy it got for installed by following the Youtube, which i recommend as best is to do it piece by piece and always replace one after the other and take the measures of the old position and hight so you don’t have to start from scratch.
After the installation my intonation was already perfect as was my string action and the rattling is gone. Also my high E stays in place now and none of the strings can move towards the screws anymore. Finally the screws are in the saddles and not sitting on them as before and don’t poke my hands anymore. All in all i recommend them for your Vintage style saddle Telecasters!

Groove Master Saddles on Nachocaster

I have just installed the Grooves on my Nachocaster. Wow, they sound great!! The reliced saddles in the Nacho had very fragile height adjustment screws at the head. I get great clarity and sustain with the Grooves and adjusting the action is so much easier. Exceeded my expectations.

Game Changer!!

I am extremely pleased with my Groove Master Saddles!! I purchased the stainless steel saddles to go on my 1986 MIJ Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 re-issue in candy apple red. I replaced the stock grooved saddles that I couldn’t intonate. The Groove Master Saddles allow me to intonate perfectly, and with the properly aligned grooves they also fit into the “stock” look. I’ve purchased other compensated saddles in the past and they don’t compare to the Music City Bridge saddles. Very glad I purchased them and now plan to purchase their aged brass saddles to put on my 1984 AVRI ‘52 Blackguard Telecaster. Yes they are somewhat expensive by comparison to other products on the market, but you get far superior quality and engineered saddles so you are getting much greater value for your dollars spent. So if you are a serious musician who’s equally serious about your sound, look no further!!

It`s all about trust

Hi, over there
I recieved the telecaster bridges/ saddles and handed them over to my husband. He is the musician. He installed the items with no problems and as expected after a short time of nivelling the exact positions the guitar had completely changed. The sound has a lot mor definition and all the tones are clean as can be.
I trusted the product and now my man has something to trust playing his instrument.
Thx

Spot on!

First of all, these saddle took care of my original issue which was to eliminate the sitar sound. Every bridge on my Tele would eventually developed that sound on the high E and B string and I would have to smooth the burs out, not anymore.
Second, I followed the video for installing the bridge pieces and it came out right on the money with very little adjustment. This product is well thought out, quality materials and delivers in the end.
Bravo!
